Vida Tayari began painting in 1991 and quickly mastered the art. Vida found her path to expressing herself through art after suffering the loss of her beloved father. She believes that his spirit guided her to follow her dream and her passion, putting her heart and soul into every painting, this skill has become a continuous meditation and has brought her many joyful rewards. In the years to follow she created many art pieces, and now has an extensive collection of original pieces which are mostly available for viewing at the Tayari Art Gallery. Vida paints with contemporary and impressionist style, and she specializes in breathtaking landscapes, personal and wedding portraits, and realistic nature and animal pieces.
An addition to these successes, Vida has had multiply national and international exhibition in which her artwork has been critically acclaimed, and she has been commissioned by several museums for her artwork.
In 2008 she received permanent residency and was chosen from 5000 other artists by the Department of Homeland Security to receive the EB-1 Visa, as an individual with extraordinary ability in Arts, Sciences and Education.
Vida has not only received significant recognition, but She has also received several awards. Vida is one of few females in the country to receive the Superior Artist Awards of Women from the Persian Association of Knowledge and Arts Observers. She has also been selected as one of the Seven scholars in Persian Art out of hundreds of artists by the Committee of Culture and Art Preservation Foundation. Last but not least, Vida is a proud recipient of the prestigious Medal of Abolghasem Ferdosi Tousi which is awarded by the Board of Directors of the Association of Knowledge and Arts Observers.
